2008 Annual HART team BBQ/Party - July 19th
More details to follow, but please mark your calendars. McShane, after a long running of hosting the annual team party, has decided he would rather just drink more and host less, so I thought I would give it a try this year and see how it goes. This is the day of Mt Evans. There is a crit the next day in Boulder, but the start times are not early, so hopefully everyone can come out and enjoy this party. There will be kegs from Atomic Cowboy, and plenty of food (some provided by Sponsors, some by me, and some of your cooking if you can bring side dishes). I will send out a flier when I get around to putting one together. For now, just mark your calendars, and start working on your ping-pong, pool, foosball, dart, and Baggo skills, as there will be plenty of sharks present to steal your pride and ego (and money too). Hope to see everyone, their kids and significant others come together for some Bang Salon/HART celebration. Doug/David - Can you make this post stick out at the top for a while?

Finally, the whole reason I joined this dang team KEGER!!!!!

There you go (Can someone please post the document to the forum? – don’t know if it is possible). Can someone ‘stick’ the thread so it stays at the very top of the forum, like the maintenance one? I think it needs to be Doug or Matt or David. • I want to emphasize that chairs and tables are really needed, so if you have a chance to bring some by, that would be awesome. • David may coordinate with some of you guys to grab the kegs and pizzas on your way in (some people cannot be held accountable for grabbing the kegs – they would never show up at the party). • I may coordinate with some of you about other minor tasks. I need to sit down and plan it out. • If you have a new generation ipod with a bunch of songs, please bring it as we can play it indoors and outdoors in the backyard from our stereo. My ipod collection is not very big. • If you are racing Evans that day, and you want to shower, the Golden river is only about 1 mile from my house. Water will be cold, but you will be alright. Chad used to volunteer his shower and everything else on his house. This is the start of a new dynasty – Chad was too nice! • Sponsors – invitation probably best that it be sent out from David or someone up in the chain of command. Please include JP from Boulder, the guys from the Golden Bike Shop, and the usual suspects. • I got this e-mail list from a response from David about something else… have no idea if I have everyone, or if I including someone’s family, ex, or mistress. Hope to see eveveryone!!

Are pants required?

los- 06-26-2008

As long as you take your shoes off to get in the basement to get your butt kicked in all the activities above, and also on Wii or PS2, then I don't care what you wear, as long as you wear something. Now, how you leave the house, after you gambled everything you have, is not my business anymore.

Do I have to put a bump on this everyday to get it to the top, or can the administrators do that? Also, what about the flyer being attached to this thread?

los- 07-08-2008

Bump - YOU CAN ALSO RSVP HERE AT THE FORUM OR VIA E-MAIL TO ME. If you don't have the flyer, check your inbox. It was sent 2 weeks ago. If you need one, let David or myself know. Please RSVP by next Wednesday. So, far I think I am planning on grilling 2 burgers and 2 brats for the two who have RSVP'ed. My wife is already stocking up on soda and meat from sales at King Soopers, and would really appreciate a good head count. Chad warned me that most people don't RSVP or RSVP late. I am telling you, Chad is too nice. This is a new era. Doug will be the bouncer checking RSVP's against the guest list. No RSVP, you will be drunk because all you will have is beer. I know, I know, someone of you are celebrating the obvious.

Megan and I are in for the Party providing she does not crash during MT. Evans hill Climb. Rob H. I love burgers!

supergo- 07-08-2008

I will be there. I'll bring a Helton-English Dictionary so we will all be able to talk to Rob.

heavycranks- 07-08-2008

You do not need a dictionary, just the pocket guid called "the book of Cool"!

a5house- 07-08-2008

What's a guid?

heavycranks- 07-09-2008

Oh sorry ...Quid , It's like 5$ in England.

evlgreg- 07-09-2008

I'm in. BTW I'm driving the lead vehicle for the 45+ race at Evans, if anyone wants a nice ride on a closed road up to the top of Evans, I could use some company in the car. I only have 2 roof racks, so I can only bring 2 people back down anyway. Any volunteers? Gp
