Colorado Summer Biathlon - Olympic type
This is the race announcement: The Colorado Biathlon Club 2008 summer event is scheduled for Sunday September 28th and will again be held at Snow Mountain Ranch. This year's race will use the same formats and distances as last year's race, which included a 5K run event with four shooting bouts and a separate 10K bike event also with four shooting bouts. Note, both the run and bike courses use grass and dirt trails. CBC club rifles will be available for use and participation in a pre-race safety clinic is required for anyone not possessing a USBA 'red book' (winter certification) or proof of previous attendance at a summer biathlon safety clinic.
