Looking for a 56 cm bike for girlfriend
I was just wondering if any of you jokers have a 56 cm bike, preferably women specific, that you or your wife/girlfriend is willing to sell. My little lady wants to start riding but can't quite afford a new bike. She is naturally already scoping out eBay and craigslist. Thanks for any help. Cameron

My shiny Primus Mootry (scandium with carbon rear), it's not women specific, would probably work for her but it's just a frame. I'll give you a deal on it.

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind. For now I think it will be easier to get a complete bike. If that changes I will definitely let you know.

goddam ungrateful... grumble grumble

if you do decide to get the frame and need someone to build it up.... lemme know.

Doug's bike was custom built for Doug. So it is without doubt womens specific. How did you guy's let that one go for so long?

fear

Doug has lost power over the years. He used to scare people away who came on the team. Now nobody takes him seriously anymore. Next time he tell you to do something, just tell him to go to MannoLand.

my wife is actually selling her 55/56 salsa campeon on craigslist. She got it as a starter racing bike - and then never started racing. It may be more than what your girlfirend is looking for, but email me if you want more info.

Yeah, that is a little much for her. She is just getting into riding in general. There are no plans on any racing. She is looking to spend $500-600. Thanks though. It looks like a sweet ride.

Yo, check out the pawnshops! I was was driving down s. broadway today and saw what looked like a pretty modern rode bike about 55-56cm. It was a mile or so south of hampden on the west side.

Good suggestion. I will check that out.

pawn karma!!! don't mess with the gods. if you can wait until october, the denver police department does a bike auction. http://www.success-auctions.com/?Auction=77 ...and there is always veloswap http://www.veloswap.com/expo/why_attend_den.html

cgridley- 08-01-2008

Ah, nice. I didn't know about the auction. That looks very promising. Thanks for the heads up in that.
