Profile for RR in Glenwood Springs
Got this from the promoter today. The race is an out/back, starting at the East Glenwood Canyon trail head, heading up the frontage road to Gypsum. The first turn-a-round is near Gypsum. Then north on the River Rd It is an out/back course, and there is some dirt road near the second turn-a-round. Like most Colorado country roads it a mixed bag of sweet smooth asphalt, some chip-n-seal and some dirt. All in good ride/race shape. More rolling hills then flat, there are some good grunts, but no big killer climbs. It's a true all-a-rounder’s race. I've attached the profile....also you can look at the profile on "Map My Ride" there is a profile button. Anybody planning on racing? I would definitely like to give it a go, sounds like a great course. Given that the race is east of Glenwoon it might be best to stay in Vail/Eagle/Avon.

I didn't know that. I'm SO in. Now phase 2, who wants to carpool? I just want to do the road race but I may be talked into the Crit since I just found out that the hotel is paid for BA.

Well guys Sorry my wife will not be on the Glenwood race course yelling at us about why we suck! She will be at NAture vally. That said I am looking forward to a weekend with the boys racing!!!

It is true, we already have a couple of rooms in Glenwood to help with the early start time. PLease RSVP by the Tuesday before the race to hold your spot in the team rooms.
